10 Day Ramaroshan Expedition
Ramaroshan, situated in the Achham district of Sudurpashchim Province, is one of Nepal’s most pristine and enchanting hidden gems. Famed locally as 'Baahra Bandh, Athara Khandh' (12 Lakes and 18 Meadows), this high-altitude wetland ecosystem sits between 2,050 meters and 3,792 meters above sea level. It is home to Jigale Lake (the largest, shaped like the letter 'C' or 'Y'), Taune Lake, and Kinimini Patan—the largest continuous alpine meadow in Achham, through which the Kailash River flows. Ramaroshan is also a prime sanctuary for Nepal’s national bird, the Danfe (Impeyan Monal), as well as wildlife like musk deer, Himalayan black bear, and red panda.

- Respect Wildlife: Do not disturb nesting birds or wild animals. Maintain quietness near lake shores to observe avian life.
- Cultural Respect: Always ask for permission before taking photographs of local elders or private homesteads. Respect sacred sites near temples and lakes.
